United Airlines made unscheduled landing at Chicago airport because passenger used a nasty device.

By Peter Titze

Totally disregarding the well-being of fellow passenger a man on a flight from Newark to Denver attached a device on his seat tray to prevent the passenger in front to decline her seat. The lady seated in front requested the man behind to remove this device but the man refused. Likewise the man also ignored request by flight attendance to remove the device which finally resulted in the lady throw a glass of water on the man. With this situation on hand the captain of the United flight made an unscheduled landing at Chicago to evict both passenger resulting in a several hour delay before the plane finally reached Denver.

The device in question is called a Knee Defender and sold by Gadget Duck (picture available here) Ones attached to the tray arms it prevents the  seat in front to decline.
