Traveler be aware that the money exchange counter at Rome airport charge an exorbitant fee.  On $ 300.- changed I was charged over $ 30.- in fee's.  Later the day and in a similar transaction elsewhere I was charged only $ 4.50 and even got a better exchange rate.
